FAQs

What are DL Management’s hiring requirements?

We comply with all DOT requirements in screening our drivers. We have the ability to meet and exceed any additional requirements your firm would need. Every driver is druge screened prior to employment and partakes in our random drug testing program.

What type of work will DL Management’s employees perform?

The loads they haul truly run the whole gambit of our industry. From food service to general freight, from waste water to heating oil, from construction equipment to straight trucks, we have drivers to handle all tasks. Our employees are capable of unloading full floor loaded trailers, to making multi-stop LTL pedal runs. We have also dedicated regional drivers if your needs would require a layover.

What do your rates cover?

The cost of an employee is not simply his hourly wage. There are human resource costs to maintain the DOT file, manage their health benefits and recruit the employees, as well as, numerous payroll costs including taxes, workers compensation, and unemployment costs. We feel our hourly rate is extremely competitive to the true cost of an employee in our industry. Additionally we offer exciting temp-to-hire programs.

What is the process to place an order?

We deal with a broad range of clients, from fortune 500 to locally owned and operated companies. You would simply place a call to our dispatchers at 800-494-8845 and they can coordinate your exact needs. The more notice we have, the better, but we have organizations that call “day off” for their needs. We can schedule weeks in advance for upcoming vacations, or cover a morning call out. Our dispatch can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
